WASHINGTON — Projected lottery standout AJ Dybantsa said he fully expects to be the first name called at the 2026 NBA Draft, adding that he would welcome joining either the Washington Wizards or Utah Jazz, the teams holding the top two selections.
“Anyone can trade up, anyone can trade down, but I’m going to be happy with anybody,” Dybantsa told 7News Boston in a one-on-one interview. Washington owns the No. 1 pick, while Utah controls No. 2.
Acuff Works Out for Bulls, Nets; Jazz and Bucks Next
Former Arkansas guard Darius Acuff, projected to land in the mid-lottery, visited the Chicago Bulls on Friday after working out for the Brooklyn Nets two days earlier, according to Bleacher Report. Additional sessions with the Jazz and Milwaukee Bucks are scheduled.
Chicago holds the fourth and 15th picks. Brooklyn selects sixth, and Milwaukee is slotted 10th.
Nets Yet to Host Nate Ament
Despite reports that Brooklyn is high on Tennessee one-and-done forward Nate Ament, he has not met with the Nets, league sources told the New York Post.
