UConn center Tarris Reed Jr. continued the momentum he built during the NCAA Tournament. His combination of mobility, strength and defensive versatility pushed him into consideration for the top 40, with some executives suggesting late first-round potential.
Guard-forward Matt Able quietly improved his outlook through steady scoring across multiple sessions. While teams still view him as a long-term project, the combine underscored the tools that make him intriguing.
Prospects facing new questions
Arizona forward Koa Peat drew mixed reviews after unveiling a tweaked jump shot. Because perimeter shooting remains the swing skill in his profile, a return to school is reportedly under serious discussion.
Tyler Tanner of Vanderbilt struggled during scrimmages, an issue magnified by his smaller frame. Although some evaluators remain optimistic, his margin for error narrowed over the course of the week.
Draft decisions taking shape
Dailyn Swain indicated he intends to stay in the draft despite a modest showing in Chicago, according to league personnel. Conversely, shot-blocker Rueben Chinyelu impressed with production and standout measurements yet is still expected to return to college.
A similar decision looms for Flory Bidunga, who, despite positive feedback, may opt for another collegiate season to further refine his game.
