Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers have shown interest in veteran wing Matisse Thybulle as they continue to seek perimeter defense help, according to The Stein Line. Thybulle, 29, played only 45 games over the past two seasons because of injuries but is a two-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection from his tenure with the 76ers.

Financial constraints complicate a potential deal. After exhausting their cap space and room exception, Los Angeles can offer only a veteran-minimum contract unless it engineers a sign-and-trade. The club is also monitoring Warriors restricted free agent Jonathan Kuminga, suggesting further roster moves remain possible.

Miami Heat

The Heat have re-signed center Vladislav Goldin on a two-way contract, the NBA transaction log shows. The 25-year-old accepted Miami’s two-way qualifying offer after becoming a restricted free agent.

Goldin averaged 12.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 blocks in 31 G League games with the Sioux Falls Skyforce last season. He appeared in nine NBA contests for Miami. With his return, the Heat have filled two of their three two-way slots.

Free Agency Overseas

Former NBA forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl has signed a two-year contract with Greek club Aris B.C. The 25-year-old played 219 NBA games for the Thunder, Pelicans, Pacers and Mavericks, splitting last season between Indiana, Dallas and the G League.

While with the Texas Legends, Robinson-Earl averaged 16.7 points and 11.7 rebounds, but a long-term NBA role did not materialize. Aris has been active this offseason, also adding former NBA players Kostas Antetokounmpo, Khem Birch and E.J. Liddell.
