The Sacramento Kings, owners of the seventh, 34th and 45th selections in the 2026 NBA Draft, will continue their pre-draft evaluations on Tuesday morning, according to TheKingsBeat.com. Six prospects are slated to visit Sacramento: Tamin Lipsey (Iowa State), JaKobi Gillespie (Tennessee), JVonne Hadley (Louisville), Jevon Porter (Missouri), Giovanni Emejuru (East Carolina) and Ernest Udeh (Miami). Gillespie is the highest-ranked player in that group, sitting at No. 44 on ESPN’s big board.

Recent mock drafts had linked the Kings to guard Darius Acuff at No. 7, but newer projections show Acuff coming off the board one or two spots earlier and Sacramento instead selecting Kingston Flemings. A current NBA agent and former scout told The Sacramento Bee that he grades Acuff higher than Flemings, describing Flemings as a “10-year starter” but not an All-Star-caliber talent.

Elsewhere in the Pacific Division, former Golden State assistant Jerry Stackhouse discussed his two-year stint under head coach Steve Kerr on FanDuel TV’s “Run It Back.” Stackhouse said Kerr consistently invites dialogue among staff members and makes sure “you know where you stand” regarding team objectives.

In Phoenix, a source reiterated to Suns After Dark that the Suns have no interest in pursuing a trade for Grizzlies guard Ja Morant. The same stance was reported by the outlet last month.
