Johnny Davis Heads to Turkey, Signs With Manisa Basket

Free-agent guard Johnny Davis has agreed to a deal with Manisa Basket of the Turkish Basketbol Süper Ligi, the club announced on social media.
Davis, 24, was selected 10th overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2022 NBA Draft. He played parts of three seasons in Washington before being traded to the Memphis Grizzlies in February 2025 and waived later that month.
The Wisconsin native averaged 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds in 11.4 minutes across 112 NBA games, shooting .397 from the field, .273 from three-point range and .561 at the foul line.
After leaving the NBA, Davis spent the 2025-26 campaign with the G League’s Wisconsin Herd. In 27 games, he posted 15.1 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.4 steals per contest while shooting .459/.356/.680.
The move to Manisa marks Davis’s first professional stint overseas.
