Jazz’s Trey Alexander Exits on Stretcher; Northwest Injury and Contract Updates

Utah Jazz guard Trey Alexander, recently signed to a two-way deal, was removed from Monday night’s game against the Chicago Bulls on a stretcher after collapsing in the fourth quarter. The incident occurred when the rookie collided with Bulls first-round pick Caleb Wilson on a drive to the basket. Alexander immediately clutched his right side or abdomen and fell to the floor in visible pain. The Jazz have not yet released a medical update.

Bailey’s Back Spasms Persist

Second-year wing Ace Bailey continues to battle recurring back spasms. According to the Deseret News, the issue forced him to miss most of the Salt Lake City Summer League, sit out Utah’s first Las Vegas Summer League game, and leave Sunday’s matchup early. Head coach Steve Wojciechowski said Bailey felt fine during shootaround but experienced renewed discomfort once play began. The 19-year-old logged just 19 minutes in Salt Lake City and eight minutes in Las Vegas, likely ending his 2026 Summer League participation.
