The Denver Nuggets are evaluating guard Bogdan Bogdanovic as a potential offseason addition, according to reports relayed by Eurohoops. The 33-year-old remains under contract with the Los Angeles Clippers, but the club holds a $16 million team option for the 2026/27 season and is expected to decline it after his injury-marred 2025/26 campaign, when he appeared in just 23 games and averaged 7.4 points while shooting 38.8% from the field.

If the Clippers let the option lapse, Bogdanovic will enter unrestricted free agency. Denver views the Serbian veteran as a possible second-unit scorer and playmaker whose long-standing national-team chemistry with center Nikola Jokic could ease his transition.

Other Free-Agency Notes

Walker Kessler addressed speculation about his future with the Utah Jazz after reportedly declining a contract proposal worth more than $140 million. In an Instagram post, the center said he has “always wanted to be here,” praising Salt Lake City, the fan base, teammates and coaches while dismissing talk that he hopes to leave.

At the Detroit Pistons’ pre-draft press conference, president of basketball operations Trajan Langdon said he has not discussed a reunion with Malik Beasley because the 29-year-old doesn’t currently have an agent. Beasley was close to re-signing with Detroit following a productive 2024/25 season, but negotiations stalled amid NBA and federal investigations into alleged ties to illegal betting. He has yet to be cleared.

Elsewhere, ESPN’s Zach Kram highlighted six under-the-radar free agents, a list that features Matisse Thybulle of the Trail Blazers and Dean Wade of the Cavaliers. The Athletic’s John Hollinger expanded on his offseason rankings, publishing positional lists that cover 45 shooting guards and 33 small forwards after unveiling his overall top-25 free agents earlier in the week.
