The Los Angeles Clippers and guard Cam Christie have shifted the guarantee date on his 2026-27 salary to Oct. 15, marking the second adjustment this offseason.
Christie’s $2.3 million salary for the 2026-27 campaign had been set to lock in if he remained on the roster past June 30. The sides initially extended that deadline to July 20 before agreeing to the new mid-October date, according to The Athletic.
The 6-5 shooting guard’s deal runs through 2027-28, with the Clippers holding a $2.5 million team option for that season. That option carries its own guarantee trigger on June 30, 2027.
Selected 46th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, Christie has appeared in 55 games over his first two years with Los Angeles, averaging 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds in 8.7 minutes. He turns 21 on Friday and is the younger brother of Dallas Mavericks wing Max Christie.
