The Milwaukee Bucks have reached a two-way agreement with George Washington senior Rafael Castro shortly after the 2026 NBA Draft, according to Dushawn London of 247Sports.
Castro, a 6’10” center who was ranked No. 68 on ESPN’s final draft board by Jeremy Woo, went undrafted despite being viewed as a potential late second-round selection.
After limited playing time in two seasons at Providence, the New Jersey native transferred to George Washington, where he became the full-time starter. He earned All-Atlantic 10 Second Team and All-Atlantic 10 Defensive Team honors in both of his seasons with the Revolutionaries.
As a senior in 2025-26, Castro averaged 15.3 points, 9.1 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.7 blocks across 27 appearances, logging 27.3 minutes per game. He converted 62.7% of his field-goal attempts and shot 66.1% from the free-throw line.
Two-way deals are non-guaranteed and do not count against the salary cap. If Castro remains on the two-way contract for the entire 2026-27 season, he is projected to earn about $679,000, half of the rookie minimum salary.
