The Portland Trail Blazers have reached an Exhibit 10 agreement with undrafted Pittsburgh wing Barry Dunning, according to Sean Highkin of the Rose Garden Report.
The 6-foot-6 guard is scheduled to suit up for Portland’s squad at the Las Vegas Summer League and has been invited to the team’s September training camp.
Dunning averaged 12.5 points and 5.9 rebounds across 33 games (27 starts) for the Panthers last season, shooting 46.6 percent from the field and 34.5 percent from three-point range. Before transferring to Pittsburgh, he logged time at Arkansas, UAB and South Alabama.
A native of Mobile, Alabama, Dunning was not listed on ESPN’s top-100 draft board. The non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 contract allows him to compete for a two-way slot in camp. If waived before the regular season and he spends at least 60 days with the Rip City Remix, Portland’s G League affiliate, he could earn a bonus of up to $91,000.
