San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama was ejected after being assessed a Flagrant 2 foul on Monday, but not before turning to a teammate to ask what the infraction meant, according to the New York Post.
The brief exchange took place just seconds before officials signaled the disqualifying call, leaving the 7-foot-4 center visibly confused about the rule that carries an automatic ejection.
Wembanyama then left the court, ending his night early and forcing the Spurs to finish the game without their top draft pick.
