Former Cleveland Cavaliers center Timofey Mozgov claims he was not invited to the team’s reunion honoring its 2016 NBA title.
“No one wrote,” Mozgov said, according to a report published Thursday, indicating that no one from the organization contacted him about the gathering.
The event brought together players from the roster that delivered Cleveland’s first—and only—NBA championship. Mozgov, who was part of that squad, said he learned about the reunion only after it had taken place.
The Cavaliers have not publicly addressed Mozgov’s absence or the reason he was left off the guest list.
