Sources told ESPN that the Detroit Pistons have reached an agreement to acquire guard Isaiah Joe from the Oklahoma City Thunder in a trade.

The framework of the deal, including any additional players, draft picks or financial considerations, was not immediately disclosed. Finalization is pending completion of routine league approval procedures.

Joe, 24, averaged 8.3 points over 21.7 minutes for Oklahoma City last season, shooting 40.9% from three-point range. He joined the Thunder as a free agent in 2022 after two seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Pistons finished last season at 14–68 and own the No. 1 overall pick in the upcoming NBA draft. Detroit’s front office, led by new president of basketball operations Trajan Langdon, has emphasized perimeter shooting and roster depth as off-season priorities.

Oklahoma City, which posted the Western Conference’s best record at 57–25, has a surplus of backcourt options and continues to stockpile assets for future roster moves.

Both teams are expected to announce the trade details once the transaction is approved by the league.
