ORLANDO, Fla. — With 1:43 remaining in the second quarter, the Detroit Pistons own a 50–46 advantage over the Orlando Magic in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference first-round series on April 27. Orlando leads the best-of-seven matchup, 2-1.
Guard Cade Cunningham has paced Detroit with 16 points on 5-of-12 shooting, adding three rebounds and three assists. Center Jalen Duren has supplied six points and four rebounds, while Tobias Harris has chipped in 10 points.
Forward Franz Wagner tops Orlando with 14 points on 6-for-11 shooting. Rookie forward Paolo Banchero has eight points and three rebounds, and Wendell Carter Jr. has contributed five points and four boards.
Detroit is hitting 49 percent of its attempts (17-for-35) and 42 percent from three-point range (5-for-12). Orlando is shooting 36 percent overall (17-for-47) and 21 percent from deep (4-for-19). The Pistons have converted all nine of their free throws, while the Magic are 8-for-11 from the line.
Turnovers favor Detroit; the Pistons have committed 11, compared with 13 for Orlando. Detroit also holds a slim 21-17 edge on the glass.
Jonathan Isaac (knee) remains out for Orlando. The officiating crew consists of Marat Kogut, Scott Foster, Gediminas Petraitis and Eric Dalen.
Game 4 continues on NBC and Peacock. Should Detroit hang on, the series would shift back to Detroit tied 2-2 for Game 5. A Magic comeback would give Orlando a commanding 3-1 lead.
