New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown said on Tuesday he remains confident in the substitution pattern he used in the club’s most recent game, even though mounting criticism has led some to question the move.
Brown acknowledged the scrutiny but insisted the rotation reflected what the coaching staff believed was best at the time. “We went with the lineup that has worked for us,” he told reporters. “I still stand by it.”
While Brown reiterated that he has no immediate plans to alter his usual approach, he conceded that circumstances could force him to reconsider. “If the situation changes, we’ll adjust,” he said, noting that player availability and match-up concerns could prompt modifications in upcoming games.
