Former NBA guard Malik Beasley has pleaded not guilty to gambling-related charges, his lawyer confirmed on Tuesday.
The 29-year-old free agent entered the plea in court on July 1, according to his legal team. Details of the alleged gambling activity were not released, but Beasley is contesting the accusations in full.
“Malik is focused on clearing his name so he can move on with his life and career,” his attorney said in a brief statement outside the courthouse.
No trial date has been set. Beasley last played in the NBA during the 2025–26 season.
