Los Angeles — LeBron James said he is not yet ready to disclose where he will play next season, but assured fans that the process “will be fun.”
The NBA’s all-time leading scorer addressed questions about his future on Tuesday, declining to reveal any timeline for an announcement or offer clues about potential destinations. “I’m still weighing everything,” he said. “When it’s time, you’ll know. It’s going to be fun.”
James, 41, finished last season averaging 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 7.2 assists. He can become a free agent this summer by declining his player option for the 2026-27 campaign.
The four-time NBA champion offered no further details, repeating only that he is exploring his options and is focused on making the best decision for himself and his family.
