NEW YORK — Guard Landry Shamet is set to remain with the New York Knicks after reaching a four-year, $24 million contract agreement, according to multiple sources on Monday.

The deal keeps the 29-year-old shooter in Manhattan as the reigning NBA champions move quickly to preserve the roster that delivered the franchise’s first title in decades. Shamet, who provided perimeter scoring and floor spacing throughout last season, will now be under contract through the 2029-30 campaign.

Re-signing Shamet marks the latest move by the Knicks’ front office aimed at maintaining continuity following the championship run. Details on when the agreement will become official were not immediately disclosed, but contracts can be formally signed once the league’s free-agency moratorium ends next week.
