LaMelo Ball and Model Analicia Chaves Welcome First Child, Introduce Fertility Nonprofit

Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball and his partner, model Analicia Chaves — widely known as Ana Montana — have welcomed their first child, a son named LaOne, the couple told People on Sunday.
The baby was born in January, according to a representative for the pair. Alongside the birth announcement, Ball and Chaves disclosed plans for a new nonprofit, I Am Fertility, aimed at assisting women undergoing fertility treatments and in-vitro fertilization.
In a joint Instagram post that introduced the organization, Chaves wrote to her son, “I love you more than any word could ever describe… You’re my purpose and you’ve helped me become the woman I was always destined to be.”
The nonprofit’s first initiative will be a $10,000 grant, splitting $5,000 each to two women to help cover IVF and fertility-related expenses. “At one point during my IVF journey, I felt overwhelmed, emotional, isolated and unsure where to turn,” Chaves told People. “That experience inspired me to create I Am Fertility as a safe space where women don’t have to face this journey alone.”
Ball, 24, and Chaves, 35, were first linked in 2021 and began dating in 2023.
