New York — ESPN Enterprises, LLC has reiterated its commitment to responsible sports wagering by publishing an expanded list of state-specific gambling hotlines and eligibility rules alongside its digital content, according to terms dated 2026.
The disclaimer directs viewers with potential betting problems to call 1-800-GAMBLER, 1-800-MY-RESET or (800) 327-5050, or to visit gamblinghelplinema.org when located in Massachusetts. New York audiences are instructed to dial 877-8-HOPENY or text HOPENY (467369), while Connecticut residents are referred to 888-789-7777 or ccpg.org. Additional resources include mdgamblinghelp.org for Maryland and 1-800-981-0023 for Puerto Rico.
The network reminds users that sports betting is restricted to individuals 21 years or older in most states, with lower minimum ages of 18 in the District of Columbia, Kentucky, New Hampshire, Puerto Rico and Wyoming. Wagers are labeled void in Ontario, and eligibility limitations may apply elsewhere.
ESPN notes that wagers placed through DraftKings Sportsbook are operated “on behalf of Boot Hill Casino” in Kansas. The company also warns Illinois customers that a pass-through per-wager tax could be assessed.
