The Milwaukee Bucks have signed forward Alex Antetokounmpo to a two-way contract, the team confirmed Monday, bringing him together with older brothers Giannis and Thanasis in Wisconsin.
According to Octagon managing director Alex Saratsis, who spoke with ESPN’s Shams Charania, the agreement places three siblings on the same active NBA roster for the first time in league history.
To clear a slot for the 23-year-old forward, Milwaukee waived guard Jamaree Bouyea from his own two-way contract, sources told ESPN.
Path to Milwaukee
Undrafted in 2021, Alex Antetokounmpo spent the 2021-22 season with Raptors 905 in the G League, then joined the Bucks’ affiliate from 2022-24. He moved to Europe in 2024 before securing Monday’s deal.
Family ties on and off the court
The signing deepens a family connection already visible in international play. This past summer, Giannis guided Greece to a bronze medal at EuroBasket 2025, calling the podium finish the greatest achievement of his career. Brothers Thanasis and Kostas were also part of that squad.
The Bucks open training camp later this month with all three Antetokounmpos in uniform, while Kostas remains a free agent.
