Trade speculation surrounding Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga continues to circulate, with multiple teams still tracking his availability.
Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer reported that the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings and Phoenix Suns remain interested in acquiring the 21-year-old forward. According to DallasHoopsJournal, Sacramento is expected to renew its pursuit during the season.
Kuminga finalized a two-year, $48.5 million contract with the Warriors earlier this week. The agreement includes a team option for the second season, giving Golden State—or any team that might trade for him—the flexibility to renegotiate next offseason. Under NBA rules, he becomes trade-eligible after January 15.
Over the summer, the Kings reportedly offered guard Malik Monk and a protected 2030 first-round pick for Kuminga, but the Warriors declined the proposal.
Kuminga averaged 15.3 points per game last season and has experienced an uneven relationship with head coach Steve Kerr. While he is not actively requesting a midseason move, sources indicate he would be comfortable in Sacramento, where he has already had positive conversations with assistant coach Doug Christie and members of the front office.
