New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson and his wife, Ali Brunson, took time away from basketball for a post-season getaway, saying the trip gave them “exactly what we needed” following the team’s taxing title run.
The couple’s offseason break was revealed in a report published on July 29, 2026. Details of the destination were not disclosed, but both Brunsons emphasized that the pause from the spotlight was essential after the Knicks’ push through the playoffs.
Brunson, 29, served as New York’s primary floor general during the championship drive, logging heavy minutes and leading the club in scoring. The vacation, he noted, allowed him to recharge mentally and physically before preparations begin for the 2026-27 season.
Ali Brunson echoed her husband’s sentiment, adding that the time away offered “a perfect reset” before the couple returns to New York.
