The San Antonio Spurs have reached a one-year agreement to re-sign point guard Jordan McLaughlin, agent Greg Lawrence told Shams Charania of ESPN.
The contract is a veteran minimum deal worth $3.29 million for the 2026-27 season. Because of NBA rules on minimum salaries, San Antonio’s cap hit will be $2.45 million.
McLaughlin, 30, entered the league after four years at USC. Undrafted in 2018, he spent his rookie campaign in the G League with the Brooklyn Nets’ affiliate before landing a two-way contract with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2019. He remained with Minnesota for five seasons.
The guard signed with the Sacramento Kings in the summer of 2024 and was traded to San Antonio in February 2025 as part of the De’Aaron Fox blockbuster deal. McLaughlin re-upped with the Spurs last offseason and will now return for a third straight year.
Additional details on roster moves and contract specifics have not yet been announced.
