MEMPHIS — Center Quentin Post is joining the Memphis Grizzlies after the Golden State Warriors declined to match a three-year, $30 million offer sheet, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania and Anthony Slater.

Golden State had just over 36 hours to decide on the restricted free agent. The franchise ultimately passed, with reports indicating luxury-tax apron concerns factored into the decision. Post, 24, averaged 7.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in 67 appearances last season and becomes the latest addition to Memphis’s frontcourt.

ESPN noted the agreement is the first offer sheet worth at least $5 million annually to go unmatched since Bogdan Bogdanović left Sacramento for Atlanta in 2020.

Pistons Weighing Cost for Trey Murphy III

The Detroit Pistons are exploring options to add New Orleans Pelicans forward Trey Murphy III, Omari Sankofa of the Detroit Free Press reported. Murphy’s efficient scoring, floor spacing, and off-ball effectiveness are viewed as a strong complement to guard Cade Cunningham.

New Orleans is reportedly seeking three first-round picks in any deal for the 23-year-old. It remains unclear whether Detroit possesses—or is willing to commit—the necessary draft capital. Murphy averaged 21.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.8 assists last season.

Pelicans Re-Sign Hunter Dickinson on Two-Way Deal

Center Hunter Dickinson will remain with the Pelicans after agreeing to another two-way contract, according to the NBA’s official transaction log. The club tendered the former Michigan and Kansas standout a qualifying offer earlier in the offseason.

Dickinson, 23, spent most of last year with the G League’s Birmingham Squadron, posting 17.6 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists. He appeared in five NBA games as a rookie and is expected to compete for an expanded role heading into training camp.
