The Phoenix Suns are bringing guard Koby Brea back on another two-way contract, according to a report from ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Phoenix had extended a two-way qualifying offer to Brea on June 18, making the 23-year-old a restricted free agent. By accepting that offer, he will receive a one-year two-way agreement that carries a $91,000 partial guarantee.
Brea appeared in 12 NBA games as a rookie after the Suns selected him with the 41st overall pick in the 2025 draft. He logged heavier minutes with the G League’s Valley Suns last season, averaging 16.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 2.6 assists over 34 contests while shooting 39.8 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from three and 84.2 percent at the foul line.
The Bronx native spent four collegiate seasons at Dayton before transferring to Kentucky for his super-senior year, where he posted 11.6 points per game and led the Southeastern Conference with a 43.5 percent mark from beyond the arc.
With Brea joining fellow guards Pat Spencer and CJ Huntley, all three of Phoenix’s two-way roster spots are now filled.
