NBA Teams Make Off-Season Deals Official As Moratorium Ends

The NBA’s annual July moratorium lifted on Monday, clearing the way for clubs to formally register a wave of previously reported trades and free-agent agreements.

Trades

Oklahoma City–Atlanta: The Thunder sent guard Aaron Wiggins to the Hawks in exchange for two future second-round draft selections.

Miami–Milwaukee: The Heat completed a blockbuster, shipping two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and forward Bobby Portis to the Bucks. Miami receives guard Tyler Herro, center Kelel Ware, forwards Jaime Jaquez Jr. and Kasparas Jakucionis, the draft rights to No. 13 overall pick Nate Ament, two first-round picks, one second-rounder and a first-round pick swap.

Free-Agent Signings

Bucks: Rookie guard Kam Jones signed a two-way contract.

76ers: Forward Dean Wade agreed to a four-year deal.

Nets: Center Day’Ron Sharpe inked a two-year contract, and forward Josh Minott also signed for two seasons.
