Front-office executives around the NBA increasingly believe the Boston Celtics will eventually part with four-time All-Star guard Jaylen Brown, according to a report by Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

Scotto’s sources say conversations inside rival clubs have shifted from questioning whether the Celtics might consider moving Brown to speculating on when and where a deal could take place. League interest remains high, though no move is considered imminent.

The Portland Trail Blazers, Toronto Raptors, Denver Nuggets, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Clippers have all shown varying degrees of interest, the report states. Portland is viewed as the most persistent suitor, yet the Blazers have reportedly refused to include forward Deni Avdija or center Donovan Clingan in negotiations.

Boston is said to have its eye on forward Toumani Camara, while former lottery picks Scoot Henderson and Shaedon Sharpe are considered possible pieces in a larger package.

Elsewhere, Atlanta is not expected to mount an all-in pursuit, and the Clippers’ strongest interest came before last month’s draft. The New Orleans Pelicans, Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic have been loosely linked to Brown but are not actively engaging the Celtics at this time, Scotto adds.

Brown, 27, averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists last season while helping Boston capture the franchise’s 18th NBA championship.
