The Los Angeles Lakers will tip off the 2026 NBA Las Vegas Summer League on July 10, facing the Oklahoma City Thunder at 7 p.m. PT on Amazon Prime, according to the schedule released on Thursday.
The annual showcase runs July 9–19 at the Thomas & Mack Center and Cox Pavilion, guaranteeing each club at least four games. Every Lakers opponent reached the 2026 NBA Draft lottery, giving Los Angeles an early look at several top rookies.

Los Angeles begins with a back-to-back, meeting Dallas one day after the opener. The Mavericks are unlikely to feature 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cooper Flagg, who won Rookie of the Year honors last season. A cross-town matchup with the Clippers and No. 5 pick Keaton Wagler follows on July 14, while the Bulls and No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson close the guaranteed portion of the schedule two days later. Teams that do not advance to the Summer League playoffs will be assigned a consolation game.
Players to Watch
First-round selection Cameron Carr, known for elite athleticism and strong three-point shooting, headlines the Lakers’ roster. Second-year forward Adou Thiero has indicated he will participate after injuries sidelined him last summer.
The front office also secured several undrafted prospects. AK Okereke (Vanderbilt) and Peter Suder (Miami [OH]) agreed to two-way contracts, while William Kyle III (Syracuse), Robbie Avila (Saint Louis) and Chase Ross (Marquette) signed Exhibit 10 deals.
California Classic Preceding Las Vegas
Before traveling to Nevada, the Lakers will join the Golden State Warriors, Sacramento Kings and Miami Heat at the California Classic, giving the young roster additional game action ahead of the Las Vegas showcase.
