The NBA on Tuesday announced the full schedule for the 2026 Summer League, putting this year’s top draft selections in the spotlight from the first tip in Las Vegas.
July 9 at Thomas & Mack Center will feature the first overall pick, AJ Dybantsa, and the Washington Wizards against No. 2 pick Darryn Peterson and the Utah Jazz.
The marquee rookie pairings continue 24 hours later when No. 3 pick Cameron Boozer leads the Memphis Grizzlies against No. 4 pick Caleb Wilson and the Chicago Bulls on July 10.
Other highlighted matchups
• Also on July 10, the Miami Heat are scheduled to meet the Milwaukee Bucks just four days after Miami’s blockbuster trade for Giannis Antetokounmpo is expected to become official.
• The Cleveland Cavaliers open against the Indiana Pacers on July 10. Cleveland’s roster has yet to be finalized, though second-round selection Meleek Thomas, guard Tyrese Proctor and several young players are anticipated to suit up.
League format and broadcast details
All 30 teams will play at least five games. Preliminary contests run through July 16, followed by semifinals on July 18 and the championship game on July 19.
A total of 76 games will be played across the Thomas & Mack Center and neighboring Cox Pavilion. Every matchup will air on ESPN platforms or stream on Prime Video.
Peterson is expected to make his professional debut earlier in the Salt Lake City Summer League, which starts July 4, before heading to Las Vegas for the showdown with Dybantsa.
The league has scheduled both games involving the top four draft picks for primetime television windows, underscoring the anticipation surrounding the incoming rookie class.
