The New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies are actively listening to trade proposals for the first two selections of the second round in the 2026 NBA Draft, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.
Memphis holds No. 31 and New York owns No. 32. Both front offices have told rival teams they are prepared to move those picks, with future draft capital expected to headline any return.
The clubs already demonstrated a willingness to trade down on the draft’s opening night. After selecting Cameron Boozer third overall, the Grizzlies dropped from No. 16 to 17 and then to 21—collecting five future second-rounders—before using the 21st choice on forward Karim Lopez. Oklahoma City took Bennett Stirtz at 16, and Detroit selected Ebuka Okorie at 17.
The Knicks began Tuesday with pick No. 24 but slid to 25, then 30, and finally 47 in separate deals with the Lakers, Mavericks, and Suns. Those moves netted New York cash considerations and five second-round selections, leaving the team with Nos. 31, 47, and 55 in 2026.
Top prospects still on the board include Duke wing Isaiah Evans, North Carolina big man Henri Veesaar, Arkansas guard Meleek Thomas, Cincinnati forward Baba Miller, German guard Jack Kayil, Louisville’s Ryan Conwell, BYU swingman Richie Saunders, and Houston guard Emanuel Sharp.
