LeBron James has not committed to playing for the Los Angeles Lakers next season and is actively considering retirement or signing with a different franchise, the New York Post reported on Monday.
The four-time NBA champion, whose current deal allows him to opt out this summer, told reporters he plans to take time before deciding whether to stay in Los Angeles, explore opportunities elsewhere or end his playing career altogether.
James declined to offer a timeline for his decision, saying only that “everything is on the table” as he evaluates his future.
