Fanatics announced that tennis icon Novak Djokovic will sit alongside Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James for a live taping of The Shop during Fanatics Fest NYC on Friday, July 17.

The on-stage conversation will explore the athletes’ parallel paths, including their record-setting longevity and shared commitment to preparation. Djokovic owns a men’s-record 24 Grand Slam singles titles and 38 Grand Slam finals appearances, as well as a 2024 Olympic gold medal. James, the NBA’s all-time leading scorer, is entering his 22nd professional season.

Travis Bennett and Sterling “Steelo” Brim, the program’s new co-hosts, will join the special edition. Last year’s live episode featured Tom Brady, Victor Wembanyama and content creator Kai Cenat.

Djokovic has been a frequent guest at Lakers games, once prompting teammate Luka Dončić to call it “unbelievable” to play in front of the tennis champion. After securing his 24th major title, Djokovic dedicated the win to late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant.

Beyond the taping, Djokovic is slated to compete for a share of $2 million in prizes at the Fanatics Games, facing 50 fans and celebrities including Brady, Rob Gronkowski, John Cena and Kevin Hart.
