Several New York Knicks standouts made a public appearance at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night, taking in a 2026 FIFA World Cup game as the team’s victory tour continued.
The players, fresh off the franchise’s first NBA championship in more than five decades, were spotted in a suite at the East Rutherford, N.J., venue. Cameras inside the stadium showed the group waving to fans during a break in play, drawing loud cheers from the sold-out crowd.
The Knicks’ ongoing title tour has included a series of stops around the New York metropolitan area, and Sunday’s visit to the World Cup marked the latest leg of their celebration. Team officials did not disclose which players attended, but multiple stars were shown on the stadium’s video boards.
MetLife Stadium, home to the NFL’s Giants and Jets, is one of 11 U.S. sites hosting matches during the 2026 World Cup. Sunday’s contest was part of the tournament’s group stage schedule.
The Knicks are expected to continue their championship appearances throughout the summer before training camp opens in the fall.
