The Toronto Raptors have reached a multi-year agreement to keep general manager Bobby Webster, 41, in place while also naming him executive vice president, the team announced Wednesday.

Webster is entering his 10th season overseeing basketball operations. He assumed full control of the front office in August 2025 after eight years as general manager and earlier stints as assistant GM and vice president of basketball management and strategy.

Sportsnet reported in May that the sides were close to new terms. Webster had one season remaining on his previous deal, and ownership sought continuity after Toronto returned to the postseason for the first time in four years.

“We’re building something special here, and I’m proud to continue to lead the Toronto Raptors as we work toward our next championship,” Webster said in the release, thanking Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment CEO Keith Pelley and the company’s board for their support.

Pelley praised Webster’s “elite understanding of the game and the NBA,” adding, “With Bobby and the Raptors, we’ve seen the results, and we believe in where his leadership will take us.”

The club simultaneously extended contracts for three other front-office executives: vice president of player personnel and assistant GM Dan Tolzman; vice president of basketball strategy and research Keith Boyarsky; and vice president of operations Tyla Flexman.

“This group has been integral to building the organization and shaping our long-term vision—their leadership, expertise and commitment are second to none,” Webster said.

Head coach Darko Rajaković, who also has one year left on his contract, is considered a candidate for an extension next, according to TSN Sports’ Josh Lewenberg.
