A Western Conference scout suggested the club may have to weigh moving other contributors, citing Cameron Johnson or Christian Braun as potential cap casualties. “The injury stuff is a concern,” the scout said, “but so is how they struggled without him.”

The Philadelphia 76ers face growing pressure to re-sign guard Quentin Grimes. February’s trade that sent Jared McCain to Oklahoma City thinned the backcourt, increasing Grimes’s importance.
