The result prolongs the Knicks’ idle stretch after clinching the Eastern Conference title earlier this week. New York cannot begin preparing for a specific opponent until the Western series concludes.
Game 7 is scheduled for this weekend, with the winner advancing to meet the Knicks when the championship series opens next week.
