San Antonio, TX — Oklahoma City Thunder wing Jalen Williams will be in uniform for Thursday’s Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals, the team announced.
Head coach Mark Daigneault plans to bring Williams off the bench as the Thunder attempt to secure a 4-2 series victory over the San Antonio Spurs and reach the NBA Finals for the second consecutive season.
Williams, 25, sat out the last three contests after re-injuring his left hamstring in Game 2. Oklahoma City leads the best-of-seven matchup 3-2 following Tuesday’s home win.
Injury history and availability
The third-team All-NBA selection initially strained the same hamstring on April 22 during Game 2 of the first-round series against Phoenix. He missed the subsequent sweep of the Los Angeles Lakers before aggravating the injury against San Antonio.
Williams’ 2025 postseason included playing through a right wrist issue that required surgery in the offseason and a follow-up procedure last fall. Limited by two right hamstring strains during the regular season, he appeared in only 33 games before the playoffs.
Through four postseason outings this spring, Williams is averaging 17.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.3 steals in 24.3 minutes.
Second-year guard Ajay Mitchell will remain sidelined for Game 6 with a right soleus (calf) strain.
