Following Turkey’s victory over Greece in the EuroBasket semifinals, Sengun told reporters that Antetokounmpo is “not a great passer,” explaining that Turkey focused on collapsing the paint against him. Asked about the remark, Antetokounmpo declined to engage, suggesting critics review his passing highlights on YouTube before judging. Both players later apologized on social media.

G League swap sends pick to Oklahoma City Blue
The Oklahoma City Blue acquired a 2026 first-round G League draft pick and the returning-player rights to Steven Richardson from the Wisconsin Herd. In return, the Herd received the returning-player rights to guard Cormac Ryan. Ryan recently joined Milwaukee’s training-camp roster on an Exhibit 10 deal, positioning him for a bonus of up to $85,300 if waived and he spends at least 60 days with Wisconsin.
Drell signs short-term deal in Spain
Spanish club Joventut Badalona reached a two-month agreement with forward Henri Drell, including an option for the remainder of the season. The Estonian international appeared in four games with the Bulls during the 2023-24 NBA season and played 15 contests last year for La Laguna Tenerife.
