The prank
Davis orchestrated a fake charity giveaway offering $250,000 and a car. The setup had Reaves accidentally pressing a buzzer, making two finalists each believe they had won the grand prize. As the contestants confronted Reaves, the guard appeared visibly uneasy until Davis stepped in to reveal the hoax. Reaves responded by embracing Davis immediately after the prank was exposed.
Off-season outlook for Reaves
Reaves is expected to decline his player option this summer and enter unrestricted free agency. League observers project the 25-year-old guard could command a new deal worth up to $40 million annually.
