The Indiana Pacers are weighing the idea of pursuing Chicago Bulls guard Isaac Okoro if Chicago opens the door to moving him this summer, according to a proposal highlighted by Bleacher Report’s Dan Favale.

Favale noted that Indiana’s roster already features ample scoring options, especially with point guard Tyrese Haliburton projected to return next season after an Achilles injury kept him out for most of the previous campaign. The recent additions of forward Pascal Siakam and center Ivica Zubac further solidify the Pacers’ offensive foundation, leaving perimeter defense as a key area still in need of reinforcement.

Okoro, a former Cleveland Cavaliers wing now in Chicago, carries an $11.8 million salary for the final year of his contract. Favale labeled the 23-year-old a “low-cost rotation piece” who could provide the on-ball pressure Indiana lacks without disrupting the team’s offensive balance.

The Bulls, meanwhile, remain caught between a potential rebuild and an effort to stay competitive, placing uncertainty around several roster pieces as the offseason approaches. Should Chicago entertain offers, Indiana is expected to monitor Okoro’s availability closely.

While the scenario is not viewed as one of the summer’s blockbuster rumors, league observers consider it a realistic, complementary move that could benefit both franchises if talks progress.
