Cavaliers Take 54-48 Halftime Lead on Raptors in Game 2

CLEVELAND — April 20, 2026 — The Cleveland Cavaliers carried a 54-48 advantage over the Toronto Raptors into halftime of Game 2 in their Eastern Conference first-round series.
James Harden paced Cleveland with 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting, while Donovan Mitchell added 15 and Evan Mobley chipped in 12. The Cavaliers shot 53 percent from the field and owned a 24-18 edge on the glass.
Toronto, already trailing the best-of-seven series 1-0, was led by R.J. Barrett’s 10 points. Scottie Barnes followed with nine. The Raptors hit 41 percent of their attempts and committed 11 turnovers before the break.
Guard Immanuel Quickley missed his second straight game for Toronto because of a strained right hamstring.
Cleveland, which won the opener 126-113 on Saturday, led by as many as 10 points in the first half. Game 3 shifts to Toronto later this week.
