The Golden State Warriors have changed Moses Moody’s status to questionable for Friday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks after the guard missed 10 contests with a right-wrist sprain, according to ESPN’s Anthony Slater.

Center Kristaps Porzingis was also moved to probable for the same matchup. Porzingis sat out the previous game because of back soreness and has appeared in just seven games since arriving in the February trade, averaging 14.9 points and 3.9 rebounds in 20.3 minutes.

Golden State holds the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference and trails ninth place by 1.5 games.

Suns’ skid weighing on Booker

The Phoenix Suns dropped their fifth straight game Wednesday, a home loss to Milwaukee, and observers noted visible frustration from star guard Devin Booker, The Athletic’s Doug Haller reported. Former Suns coach Earl Watson said Booker’s demeanor signals something is amiss. Phoenix sits seventh in the West at 39-32, leaving limited time to secure a stronger playoff position.

Mathurin making progress for Clippers

LA Clippers guard Bennedict Mathurin, sidelined by a right big-toe injury, is “getting better,” head coach Ty Lue told reporters. Mathurin took shots on court each of the past two days but remained out for Thursday night’s game. Since being acquired by Los Angeles, the second-year guard has averaged 19.9 points and 5.9 assists.
