Mac McClung weighing Europe
Two-time NBA G League MVP Mac McClung is increasingly expected to continue his career overseas, according to BasketNews reporter Donatas Urbonas. Multiple EuroLeague clubs have expressed interest in the 27-year-old guard.
McClung averaged 29.5 points, 7.6 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 steals across 40 games for the Windy City Bulls during the 2025/26 season, shooting .515 from the field, .384 from three-point range and .779 at the foul line. Although he has appeared in only 17 NBA regular-season contests, those games were spread over four years, eliminating his two-way eligibility and making an opening-night roster spot unlikely.
Alize Johnson heading to Paris
Former NBA forward Alize Johnson is finalizing an agreement with Paris Basketball for next season, Urbonas reports. Johnson logged 76 NBA appearances from 2018-23 with six franchises before stints in South Korea, Puerto Rico, Japan, China and the G League.
Miles Norris lands in Germany
Bayern Munich announced the signing of forward Miles Norris to a two-year contract. The former UC Santa Barbara standout ended the 2024/25 NBA season on a two-way deal with the Boston Celtics but was waived last August. He previously played in Turkey in 2024 and spent the 2025/26 season with Barcelona.
Daniel Theis drawing fresh suitors
A planned move that would have sent veteran center Daniel Theis to ASVEL is in doubt because of the French club’s financial problems. Tomer Givati of Israel Hayom reports that Maccabi Tel Aviv is making a strong push for the German big man, with rival Hapoel Tel Aviv also interested. Sportando’s Kevin Martorano adds that Barcelona could emerge as another option.
