PHILADELPHIA — The 76ers announced Wednesday that forward Kelly Oubre Jr. has a sprained lateral collateral ligament in his left elbow and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.
Injury occurred against Memphis
Oubre sustained the injury during Tuesday’s matchup with the Memphis Grizzlies, a night in which the 6-foot-8 wing posted season highs of 30 points and 12 rebounds.
Already short-handed roster
Philadelphia is already without Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey as it battles for postseason positioning. The club sits 1.5 games behind fifth place in the Eastern Conference and holds a one-game lead over the ninth-place Atlanta Hawks.
Season production
Oubre has averaged 14.7 points and 4.9 rebounds across 41 appearances, starting 36 of those games.
