March 18, 2026 — A roundup of league and international developments touches on upcoming extension windows, under-the-radar draft prospects and notable roster moves overseas.

Spurs Wing Could Cash In

Writer Yossi Gozlan of The Third Apron names 11 players now eligible for veteran extensions, headlined by San Antonio swingman Julian Champagnie. The Spurs hold a $3 million team option for 2026/27; declining that option would make the 24-year-old extension-eligible. Gozlan projects a possible four-year, $87 million ceiling, suggesting a pact worth roughly $75–76 million over four seasons might satisfy both Champagnie and the club.

Gozlan also foresees identical two-year, $24 million arrangements for Spurs forward Harrison Barnes and Jazz center Jusuf Nurkic.

Hollinger’s 2026 Draft Sleepers

John Hollinger of The Athletic lists nine prospects he believes are being overlooked ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft. Among them are Santa Clara forward Allen Graves and Stanford guard Ebuka Okorie, who could opt to return to college for 2026/27. Two other names, Corey Camper and Emanuel Sharp, will enter automatically as fifth-year seniors.

Edwards Nears Deal in Spain

Former Timberwolves two-way big man Jesse Edwards is in advanced discussions with Spanish club Baskonia for the remainder of the season, according to Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews.com. The Dutch center averaged 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.1 blocks across 35 games (22.4 minutes) with Melbourne United in Australia during 2025/26.

Partizan President Details Buyouts and Future Plans

Partizan Belgrade president Ostoja Mijailovic covered multiple topics in an interview with Serbian outlet Meridian Sport. He said Philadelphia could only contribute $875,000 toward Cameron Payne’s buyout, yet the EuroLeague club secured $1.75 million by receiving the remaining $875,000 directly from Payne.

Mijailovic confirmed NBA interest in forward Isaac Bonga last month. Partizan declined an $875,000 buyout then, but will lose that veto right once the 2025/26 campaign ends, potentially opening the door to a summer move.

The executive added that the team rues the costly contracts awarded to Jabari Parker and Shake Milton. He also expressed ongoing admiration for Dante Exum, waived by Washington last month after a trade from Dallas. Exum has missed the entire season with a knee injury, and Mijailovic said Partizan would welcome his return if it becomes feasible.
