NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Pelicans have reached a two-way agreement with forward/center Josh Oduro, according to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

The 6-foot-9 big man went undrafted out of Providence in 2024 but appeared with New Orleans during each of the past two training camps. He has spent his professional career to this point with the Birmingham Squadron, the Pelicans’ G League affiliate.

In 35 games for Birmingham this season, the 25-year-old has averaged 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals across 28.6 minutes, shooting 56.0 percent from the field and 63.3 percent at the foul line.

New Orleans entered Wednesday as the league’s only team with an open two-way slot. The move comes on the final day teams can sign two-way contracts for the 2025-26 regular season.

Oduro joins guard Trey Alexander and center Hunter Dickinson as the franchise’s two-way players. Under league rules, each can dress for up to 11 regular-season games for the remainder of the campaign.
