The Portland Trail Blazers are set to sign guard Chris Youngblood to a two-way contract, according to agent Kashim Butler of KBA Sports, who relayed the news to ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Youngblood, 24, opened the season with the Oklahoma City Thunder on an Exhibit 10 deal, converted that opportunity into a two-way slot, and appeared in 32 NBA games. He averaged 2.0 points in limited minutes before being waived in early February after reaching the 50-game limit allowed for two-way players on the active roster.

Since leaving the Thunder, the 6-foot-4 shooter has been with the Oklahoma City Blue in the G League. Over 10 regular-season contests, he posted 23.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game while shooting 46.3 percent from the field, 32.7 percent from three, and 79.4 percent at the line.

Youngblood played collegiately at Kennesaw State, South Florida, and Alabama, earning American Athletic Conference co-Player of the Year honors in 2024.

Portland had an open two-way spot after elevating Sidy Cissoko to a standard contract last month, allowing the club to add Youngblood without making an additional roster move.
