The Los Angeles Lakers strung together back-to-back victories for the first time since the All-Star break, handling the Sacramento Kings 128-104 on Sunday night at Crypto.com Arena.

Playing the second game of a back-to-back, Los Angeles leaned on Luka Doncic for an efficient 28 points on 10-of-16 shooting. The guard added nine assists, five rebounds, one steal and one block, facilitating early before shifting to scoring to close out the contest.

LeBron James, questionable earlier in the day with a foot issue, suited up and delivered 24 points on 8-for-15 from the field, including 3-of-4 from deep. He chipped in one rebound and five assists as the Lakers’ ball movement produced a balanced attack.

Three other Lakers reached double figures. Austin Reaves recorded 12 points, five assists and two blocks despite a 3-of-9 night from the floor. Deandre Ayton was perfect, converting all six shot attempts for 12 points while collecting four rebounds, two assists, two steals and a block. Off the bench, Luke Kennard contributed 11 points and five assists, continuing to provide shooting and secondary playmaking since arriving at the trade deadline.

The Kings, mired in a recent slump, could not capitalize on Los Angeles’ fatigue and trailed by double digits for most of the second half. The Lakers have now posted consecutive blowout wins after struggling immediately after the break.
