The Los Angeles Lakers overpowered the Sacramento Kings, 128-104, on Saturday night at Crypto.com Arena, completing a back-to-back with their second straight blowout victory.

Los Angeles improved to 36-24 after leading from start to finish for the second night in a row. The Lakers built a 36-18 advantage in the opening quarter behind crisp ball movement, tight defense and transition baskets. Guard Luka Doncic handed out early assists before knocking down consecutive three-pointers, while Austin Reaves connected with LeBron James for an alley-oop.

The Kings tried to answer in the second period with a dunk and a three from Malik Monk, but Luke Kennard replied with a series of perimeter shots to widen the gap. Sacramento’s frustration surfaced when Monk and Russell Westbrook received technical fouls. The Lakers carried a 64-49 cushion into halftime.

Sacramento trimmed the deficit to 10 early in the third quarter, prompting a timeout from head coach JJ Redick. Los Angeles responded immediately: Marcus Smart buried a three, Doncic scored five straight points, and Jaxson Hayes dunked to restore a 19-point edge. James capped the quarter with a buzzer-beating three for a 96-76 lead.

James opened the fourth with two deep threes and a breakaway dunk, and Smart added another triple as the margin grew. With the outcome decided early, Lakers starters rested for most of the final period.
